Oven Baked Brussels Sprouts (BBQ & Buffalo)
These can be a snack or even a meatless entree, but one thing is for sure they are definite must try!!
1 lb brussels sprouts
1 cup unsweetened non dairy milk
1/2 cup hot sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 cup panko, plain
1 cup breadcrumbs, plain
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup vegan butter
3/4 cup hot sauce
1 tablespoon molasses
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup organic ketchup
1/2 cup organic brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
Preheat oven to 420°
In mixing bowl add milk and vinegar, set aside and allow to curd, approximately 2 minutes.
In another mixing bowl combine panko, bread crumbs, smoke paprika, salt, and black pepper mix until well combined.
Whisk in hot sauce to milk mixture until well combined.
Cut tips off of brussels sprouts and remove any damaged leaves. Repeat until all brussels sprouts are finished.
Dip brussels sprouts into wet mixture and then coat each one with panko mixture.
Place brussels sprouts into baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
Repeat until all the brussels sprouts are done.
Place in oven and cook for 10 minutes, remove from oven and turn over
Place back in the oven for an additional 10 minutes. while the brussels sprouts are cooking make your sauces.
In small sauce pan melt vegan butter, add garlic and molasses then add hot sauce.
Let simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and coat desired amount of brussels sprouts.
In additional small saucepan combine ketchup, brown sugar, red wine vinegar, garlic and liquid smoke. Stir until sugar is dissolved and simmering. Remove from heat and coat desired amount of brussels sprouts.
